All this commission for nothing. This “Ground Zero Mosque” thing is being blown WAY out of proportion. Its a freakin community center for EVERY ONE! Its not a mosque its not a place of worship. Its a community center where you can play basketball swim and maybe do some activities. It has nothing to do with Islam, it does not house terrorists. Every day I see my American friends and groups popping up on facebook protesting about this. My god people calm the f*** down and listen for a change. The community center is 4 blocks away not even 600 ft. Stop making something out of nothing. Americans are the just the most gullible people in the world! I want everyone to see this video so that you can see the facts and how misinformed and idiotic Americans can be. Keith Olbermann just became my favorite guy in the world. As the old saying goes “barad chabdi” !
Being in Kuwait there is nothing better to do than to give unknown shows a chance and that exactly what I have been doing. After registering in a private torrent tracker I get access to shows that are usually not found in public torrents sites for no apparent reason. So far I watched 2 episodes of this series and it is very interesting and new.
Review: Stan Lee’s Superhumans is a documentary television series on the History channel about superhumans, people with extraordinary physical or mental abilities. The series is hosted by comic book superhero creator Stan Lee and superhuman Daniel Browning Smith. Smith is the most flexible man in the world. Each episode there are numerous superhumans. So far the series showed the Electro Man (above), Human Calculator, Radar, Strong Man, and many more. Imagine a man who can calculate math faster than a calculator. Imagine a blind man that can sense his surroundings by echoing sound. Imagine a man bending an unbendable wrench. These are the superhumans that you will see in this series.

The trials they put some of the superhumans in are predictable and should be more complex and if anything more trials. The trials that they are put in are too brief and don’t think is a measure of their full capabilities. Its an ongoing series so let’s hope it gets better from here.

نقف اليوم على بُعد ثلاثة شهور فقط من أول دقة لعقارب ساعة مكة المكرمة التي سيتم وضعها على ارتفاع يفوق الـ660 متر في مواجهة الحرم المكي الشريف. فهذا المبنى الضخم الذي تشاهدونه في الصورة هو مُجمع سكني وفندقي يتكون من سبعة أبراج عملاقة، يتم بناؤها الآن في مدينة مكة المكرمة في مواجهة الحرم الشريف. وما يميزها هو “برج ساعة مكة ” الذي يتوسط الأبراج السبعة، والذي سيحتوي أعلاه على ساعة مكة المكرمة التي ستصبح أكبر ساعة في العالم، بحجمها الذي يصل لستة أمثال ساعة بِج بين الشهيرة في لندن. ويهدف هذا المشروع إلى وضع توقيت مكة المكرمة كواحد من التوقيتات الرئيسية في العالم في مواجهة توقيت جرينيتش، حيث سيتم ربط ساعة مكة بأكبر مراكز التوقيت في العالم مثل لندن وباريس ونيويورك وطوكيو. وليست هذه الساعة هي الميزة الوحيدة في المشروع، بل سيكون برج ساعة مكة الملكي هو ثاني أطول برج في العالم بعد برج خليفة في دبي، حيث يبلغ طول الهيكل الإسمنتي الرئيسي للبرج 662 متر وطول الهيكل الحديدي الذي يعلوه 155 متر، أي أن طوله الإجمالي هو 817 متر ولذا فهو أعلى برج إسمنتي في العالم وثاني أطول برج في العالم بعد برج خليفة الذي يصل طوله لـ828 متر. أما بالنسبة للساعة العملاقة الألمانية الصنع فيبلغ طولها 45 متر وعرضها 43 متر، ويمكن رؤيتها ومعرفة التوقيت من خلالها على مسافة 17 كيلومتر مساءاً (عندما تكون مُضاءة) وعلى مسافة 12 كيلومتر في النهار!
وسيحتوي المجمع الفندقي على 3,000 غرفة وشقة، وستديره مجموعة فيرمونت العالمية، وسيحتوي البرج الرئيسي على متحف إسلامي ومرصد فلكي للأغراض العلمية والدينية، وستبلغ التكلفة الإجمالية للمشروع حوالي ثلاثة مليارات دولار. وسيتميز المشروع بجانب كل ما سبق ببنية تكنولوجية ومعلوماتية متطورة جداً، حيث سيضم وحده حوالي 100,000 كيلومتر من أسلاك الألياف البصرية فائقة السرعة!!

Review: Sherlock

Story: Basically a modern Sherlock with a blackberry and Dr. Watson a Afghanistan veteran.
Review: I saw this show pop up on one of the torrent sites and was very curious as to what it was. Then all of a sudden I read reviews about how good it was and it was British. To be honest I have never seen a bad British show and I am a big fan of them. The last British mini-series I saw was Boy Meets Girl which coincidentally has the same actor Martin Freeman who is hilarious in his own way. I loved the story and obviously loved the characters. I mean who doesn’t love Sherlock Holmes? This Sherlock is like the Robert Downey Jr. one only ruder and less charming. Dr. Watson on the other hand is more serious and kind of useless compared to the book and movie. The only downside to this show is that it is more like a movie. So far there has been 3 episodes and every episode is more than 90 mins! Less than a day ago it was been confirmed that BBC will renew Sherlock for another season. Overall I loved the series because it sticks to the book in terms of the names and even their address but also make it relevant to the 21st century. Cheers!

Ramadhan will officially start this Wednesday, and this year it is going to be special. We are fortunate to get about 10 days of Ramadhan in Kuwait this year rather than the US like the past 3 years. And one thing is for certain, we are going to make the most of it. We are looking forward to being among friends and family and we hope you do as well. Mbarak 3alaikom Alshahar.
